There are so many activities we could use to help our students remember irregular verbs. One of the most important this we could do as ESL teachers, is providing the experience and practice they need. These ample opportunities give our ESL learners more confidence in learning irregular verb conjugations. Most of these worksheets and games can be downloaded for free from ISL Collective. If you haven't heard of this website before, I can tell you, you will love it! The only problem is that you will have to search and search for a long while to find suitable printables for your students and classroom.
I've been using this website for years, and so I've compiled some of the best worksheets over the years to teach irregular verbs and more specifically past tense verbs which are typically the hardest to teach ESL learners.
Have fun with your ESL students with these this super simple and fun Past Tense Board Game Speaking Games for Adults Students will get a board game printable to work on with their friends in groups of 3 or more, and they will use dice to roll and read the sentence they land on. They will then conjugate the sentence to a past tense form.

This super simple game is easy to setup and play. Here is what you will need:

How to play:
It's best to laminate these mats so you can use and re-use them year after year. I have a folder with all the cards I use and I refer to them continuously throughout the year.
Hand out the board game printable to 3 or more students, have them work in groups to finish the game. Instructions are included on the mat.
